What if Mass Effect was released a few decades earlier?

Keeping this image roughly time period appropriate was quite a challenge. I ended up using a resolution between 3rd (8-bit) and 4th (16-bit) generation consoles. 12-bit? The color palette I used was based on the original NES with around 60 colors to work with, though I didn't limit my sprites to 3 colors and one transparent like the NES was.

The limitations I ended up using are very much like a Sega Genesis, which could handle 448x320 with 64 colors on screen.

I pray to Ganesh every day for somebody who can make this a real thing.
The HUD, the detail, the looks... everything is perfect.

PLEASE! Find a programmer and do this for real. I'd buy it.
